Important: SocialNeon is an analytics tool that depends on data availability from Meta/Instagram APIs. Some features require Meta App Review approval and may not be available until approved. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to any feature.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SocialNeon (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SocialNeon is a social media analytics dashboard that provides:

Instagram profile, media, and insights visualization
Account trend analysis based on your own content
Media performance analysis
Competitor research via Business Discovery API (where available)
Report generation and snapshot comparison
Public hashtag research (subject to Meta App Review approval)

The Service uses official Meta/Instagram APIs (Instagram Basic Display API, Instagram Graph API, Facebook Graph API) to retrieve data that you authorize through OAuth.

3. API Availability and Data Completeness

SocialNeon’s functionality depends entirely on the availability and reliability of Meta/Instagram APIs. We make no guarantee of:

Continuous or uninterrupted access to any API endpoint
Completeness of data returned by APIs (Meta may limit, throttle, or omit data)
Availability of specific metrics (insights, follower data, etc.)
Timeliness of data synchronization

Meta may change, deprecate, or restrict API endpoints at any time, which may affect SocialNeon features without prior notice.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate information when using the Service
Comply with Meta’s Platform Terms, Instagram Terms of Use, and Facebook Terms of Service
Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable laws
Not attempt to circumvent rate limits, access restrictions, or security measures
Not use the Service to scrape, crawl, or bulk-harvest data
Not use the Service for automated spam, harassment, or any prohibited activity

5. Public Trends and Hashtag Search

The Public Trends feature (Hashtag Search) requires Instagram Public Content Access approval from Meta App Review. Until approved:

The feature will display as “Requires Meta App Review”
No hashtag search, top media, or recent media endpoints will function
No fake or simulated results will be shown

Once approved, the feature will use the official Instagram Graph API Hashtag Search endpoints based on seed hashtags you enter. It does not provide a global trending feed or automated trend discovery.

6. Third-Party Services

SocialNeon relies on the following third-party services:

Cloudflare — hosting, KV storage, CDN, and Pages Functions
Meta / Instagram — Instagram Basic Display API, Instagram Graph API, and Facebook Graph API

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. SocialNeon is not responsible for the availability or behavior of these third-party services.

7. Limitation of Liability

SocialNeon is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
