You have the right to request deletion of the data SocialNeon stores about you.
This page explains how to submit a data deletion request and what data will be removed.
How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of your data, send an email to:
Email: totallywastedshop@gmail.com
Subject: SocialNeon Data Deletion Request
Please include:
• The Instagram username connected to SocialNeon
• The Facebook Page name (if Facebook Login was connected)
• A brief confirmation that you are the account owner
We will process your request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once
the deletion is complete.
What Will Be Deleted
Upon receiving your request, we will delete:
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens for Instagram and/or Facebook
- Stored Instagram and Facebook API response cache
- Instagram profile, media, and insights data cached in Cloudflare KV
- Saved competitors and competitor data you entered
- Snapshots, reports, and report cache
- Any preferences or settings stored in our backend
What Will NOT Be Deleted
We cannot delete data that we do not control. The following remain unaffected:
- Data stored directly on Instagram/Meta servers (manage this in your Instagram and Facebook account settings)
- Any data you previously exported or downloaded
Remove SocialNeon from Facebook Business Integrations
After we process your deletion request, you should also manually remove SocialNeon
from your Facebook Business Integrations to revoke all remaining permissions:
Important Notes
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- You will need to reconnect your accounts if you wish to use SocialNeon again
- Some residual data may remain in backups for up to 30 days
- We will confirm deletion by email within 30 days of your request
- If you only want to disconnect an account (not delete data), you can do so directly in SocialNeon Settings
